Students will analyze the sequence of operations of HVAC systems and their associated controls, including Central Plants, Air and Water Distribution and Terminal Systems. The strategies learned can be applied to any controls system type or manufacturer.

This course is designed to instruct the student in the principles of HVAC building automation controls. The course will provide an overview of all major components of building automation, networking, field devices, control wiring, electrical troubleshooting and control logic. The strategies and concepts learned can be applied to any controls system type or manufacturer.
